When exhibiting at conferences, we recommend you have your Visionary Explainer Video playing on repeat, on a big screen TV in the background of your stall/stand!
The video attracts attention, makes your exhibit stand out, and gives attendees to understand your service before they speak to your team members.
For extra X-Factor, talk to your Visionary Creative Director about designing your conference stand so it matches the visual designs in your video.
How To Set Up Up Your Video
1) Download the subtitled MP4 from your Visionary Handover Pack. Subtitles are important as sound is often not easy to pick up at a noisy conference.
2) Download a free video player software called VLC Player from here: https://www.videolan.org/vlc/
3) To get the video playing on repeat, select “Repeat One” as the option in VLC:
– Download the MP4 to a laptop that is connected to the TV, and play it through VLC Player. We DON’T recommend streaming the video over the internet (eg. YouTube or Wistia), because it will freeze or stop playing if connectivity cuts out.
– Position the TV screen so viewers can watch it WITHOUT having to interact with your staff (ie. don’t have it behind your team). The video should attract people to your booth – then, once they’re inspired by the video, they can speak to your team.
– QR Code: Speak to your Visionary Project Manager if you’d like a QR Code like the example below. This allows your stand visitors to “scan” your video, and view it on their phone. We love this! Simply because it looks high-tech and represents your company as super-innovative …
Check out what happens when you scan the example below!
For Some Extra X-Factor …
– You can run your video through Facebook Ads to everyone within 1 mile of the conference during the day. So, while attendees are at the conference, they are seeing your video in their Facebook and Instagram newsfeeds. If you have the email list of the conference, you can upload the attendees into Facebook or LinkedIn and show them your Video Ads before, during and after the conference.
Speak to your Visionary Creative Director if you’d like our help with this.
